* a. After updating BIOS, it is suggested to clear CMOS by erasing the CMOS RTC RAM data
b. If you want to replace the Sandy Bridge CPU to an Ivy Bridge CPU, please ensure that the AC power is unplugged completely before installing the processor
*To better operate the system with Ivy Bridge CPU, it is required to follow the steps as below:
1. Update BIOS with “(Rev. 3511)”
2. Replace Sandy Bridge CPU with Ivy Bridge CPU
3. Update below drivers under Window OS
-Chipset: Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility
-MEI: Intel Management Engine Interface
-VGA: Graphics Accelerator Driver
Notice: The system will still be compatible to Sandy Bridge after updating.
