This package provides the Firmware Update for Optiarc AD-7640S 12.7mm SATA Slotload 8X DVDRW and is supported on Inspiron, XPS Notebook and Alienware Notebook models that are running the following Windows Operating Systems: XP, VISTA and Windows 7.
1. Please close other applications before updating the firmware.2. While the firmware is updating, please do not turn off the computer.3. Please restart the computer after firmware update is complete.
