This package provides the firmware update for Seagate Momentus Thin Sed ST320LT014-9YK142 SED 2.5",SATA,3Gb/s,7200,512e and is supported on Inspiron Notebook, Latitude, Optiplex, Precision and Vostro Notebook models that are running the following Windows Operating System: XP, VISTA and Windows 7.
1) Please close other applications before updating. 2) While the firmware is updating, please don't turn off the computer. 3) If the firmware utility fails to update, please use the legacy mode instead of the BIOS default SATA configuration. 4) If the firmware utility fails to operate in a secure computing environment, please uninitialize the security application prior to the firmware update. Else, please consult your security application vendor.
