UPDATE System Software Update
Sony has designed the BRAVIA® Televisions software update process to be customer friendly. This software update (version 4.117) provides the following benefits:

Improvements over version 4.114:

• Improved performance and stability of the Internet features.

Benefits provided by previous updates and included in version 4.117:

• Improved stability for the initial/add scan for receiving digital channels.
• Improves performance and stability of IPTV (Internet Protocol TV) features.
  Note: IPTV allows you to enjoy HD (High Definition) programming from the Internet on your BRAVIA television that is connected to a broadband Internet connection.
• Adds support for future IPTV services.
• Adds support for the Hulu™ online video service.
  Note: The Hulu service is only available in the United States.
• Installs an updated version of the on-screen i-Manual built into the BRAVIA television.
• Allows for the power-on chime sound coming through the TV speakers (not through the Optical Out) to be turned off in the Sound Menu.
• Resolves an issue where a black and white picture may occasionally appear when using Video/Component shared input.
• Adds support for the Sony Entertainment Network Music and Video Unlimited services.
• Resolves an issue where the HDMI CEC function may not work properly.
  Note: The HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) function allows you to control compatible HDMI devices, such as a Blu-ray Disc™ player or an AV amplifier, that are connected to your TV, by using the TV's remote control.
• Resolves an issue where the TV's clock may reset and the electronic program guide information may not be synchronized with the actual time.
