UPDATE BIOS Update Utility
Must be installed before Windows 8.1 upgrade!
This utility installs an updated version of the BIOS software to resolve the following issues:

• The LCD login screen and power LED light remain "On" when the "Settings for time period when you often use your VAIO®" has been enabled while the AC adapter is connected
• The computer is unable to return to sleep cycle mode when the "Settings for time period when you often use your VAIO" has been enabled while using battery power
• The computer may not automatically return to sleep mode in the "Setting for the time period when you don't often use your VAIO" if the "During sleep mode settings have been set" option is not selected
• The computer may randomly not perform a recovery, after pressing the "Assist" button, due to the error message "Your VAIO failed to start Windows®
• The fan noise is reduced for the CPU and FAN when using the "Silence" mode
• The stability of the Bluetooth® is improved
• The dialog "Password does not match. Re-enter Password" displays when setting the BIOS password with the Caps Lock on
• The BIOS password displays incorrectly when being set with the Caps Lock off
• A blue screen (BSOD) may occur at the 8GB memory point during the memory stress test
