VT8251 Integrated Serial ATA RAID controller, VT8237 Integrated Serial ATA RAID controller, CX700 Integrated Serial ATA RAID controller, VX700 Integrated Serial ATA RAID controller. For OpenSuSE 10.3 (x86&X86_64): This guide describes how to install the VIA V-RAID driver v3.10 and its utility for chipsets VT8237R/VT8237A/VT8237S/VT8251/CX700/VX800 (Serial ATA RAID controller). These chips all support RAID Level 0, RAID Level 1 and JBOD. The RAID Level 0 1 and RAID Level 5 are only supported by VT8251. An introduction to RAID is included in detail in the "Appendix" section.
