For Fedora Linux Core 7/Mandriva 2007.1/Debian 4.0r0/Ubuntu 7.04 (x86/x86_64): This installation guide describes the procedures to install the open source Wireless LAN driver “ndiswrapper” with the VIA Networking Solomon-A/B/G Wireless LAN Card, VT6655. Two solutions are provided: (1) installing the VIA pre-compiled ndiswrapper driver binary and (2) compiling the open source code of the “ndiswrapper” driver.
