Dell OpenManage Connection for CA NSM
The Dell OpenManage Connection for Computer Associates (CA) Network and Systems Management (NSM) is a systems management integration tool that extends the management of Dell PowerEdge and PowerVault systems to the users of CA NSM.
The package contains the following files:1. Dell_OMC_for_CA_NSM_v3.4_setup.exe : Installs the Dell OpenManage Connection Version 3.4 on the CA NSM management server.2. Readme.txt : Provides latest information for this release.3. Dell_OMC_for_CA_NSM_v3.4_IG.pdf : Provides installation instructions for this release.
Enhancements :The Dell OpenManage Connection version 3.4 for CA NSM is enhanced to support Dell OpenManage versions 6.2 to 6.5 on CA NSM r11.2 SP1 and CA NSM r11.2 SP2.
This release supports the following:
1. Upgrade support from Dell OpenManage Connection version 3.3 for CA NSM.
2. Auto-grouping of the Modular iDRAC devices under the DellOOB group.
3. Resolution for defect: Dell DSM policies do not work with multiple SNMP community strings (431037).
This file format consists of an archive of files that may be decompressed to a directory on the hard drive. The installation can then be done from that directory.
