For Fedora Core 4.0, 5 & 6 and Mandriva 2006 & 2007: This Application Note (AN) describes how to enable the integrated Ethernet controller in VIA south bridge chips VT8235, VT8237R/VT8237A/T8251 and C700(m). Three solutions are provided: (1) using the OS built-in driver, (2) installing VIA pre-compiled driver binary, and (3) compiling VIA driver source code.
