This download contains an improved version of the Creative Live!® Central 3 application for use with certain Creative Live! Cams. Microsoft® Windows 8 is now supported. For more details, read the rest of this web release note.

This download supports the following devices only:

• Live! Cam Chat HD
• Live! Cam Chat IM 
• Live! Cam Sync

Added Features and Enhancements:

• Live! Central 3 integrates the following 3rd party software and services:
  • GotoCamera Client helps you monitor your home, your family, and your business using a webcam.
  • MobileCamStreamer lets you use your cell phone to view what your webcam sees.
  • FastAccess enables your webcam to secure your computer and enter website passwords using facial recognition.

Requirements:

• Microsoft® Windows® 8 32-bit or 64-bit, Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit, Windows Vista 32-bit or 64-bit with Service Pack 1, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows XP with Service Pack 3
• DirectX® 9.0 and above
• Creative Live! Cam devices listed above

Notes:

• The requirements for 3rd party software and services may be different from those listed above. Refer to their respective websites for more information.
• FastAccess is not supported on Windows XP Professional x64 Edition.  
• Before installing the application, download and install the latest web driver for your device.
• To install this application
  1. Download the LC3L_PCAPP_17_3_00_63.exe file onto your local hard disk.
  2. Double-click the downloaded file.
  3. Follow the instructions on the screen.
