This package provides Windows/DOS based firmware update for Seagate Momentus Thin (2.5",SATA,3Gb/s,7200,512e) (ST320LT009-9WC142) and is supported on Precision, Optiplex and Latitude models that are running Windows series and DOS operation systems.
1) Please close other applications before updating. 2) While the firmware is updating, please don't turn off the computer. 3) If the firmware utility fails to update, please use the legacy mode instead of the BIOS default SATA configuration. 4) If the firmware utility fails to operate in a secure computing environment, please uninitialized the security application prior to the firmware update. Else, please consult your security application vendor.
