Must be installed before Windows 8.1 upgrade!
This utility installs an updated version of the VAIO® Update software to resolve the following issues:

• The VAIO Update application may become unresponsive
• The computer will no longer Logoff, Restart, or Shutdown during the installation of a patch
• The install utility menu is hidden behind the VAIO Update application
• No updates are shown when using a proxy
• Improves the performance of the VAIO Update application
• Adds Self-repair functionality
• Text within the application may appear to be cut off
• Notifies the Windows® Store App of updates in the VAIO Update application
• Improves compatibility with the operating system
• VAIO Update user interface may become corrupted if Windows Display size is set large.
• Installation process of VAIO Update may be interrupted by Kaspersky Internet Security software.
