This download contains a firmware for use with your Sound Blaster® Tactic3D Omega gaming headset on Windows® operating systems. For more details, read the rest of this web release note.

Fixes:

• Resolves the wireless interference of transmitter with Wifi equipment near the headset.

Requirements:

• Microsoft® Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit, Windows Vista® 32-bit or 64-bit with Service Pack 1 or higher, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition or Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or higher
• Sound Blaster Tactic3D Omega Wireless Headset
• Sound Blaster Tactic3D USB wireless transmitter

Notes:

• This download upgrades the firmware of your USB transmitter
• If this is your first time connecting the USB transmitter to your computer, please install the driver before proceeding.
• If you are using a notebook computer, you are recommended to power it by the mains, and not by the battery.
• It is recommended that you connect the USB transmitter directly to your computer. Do not connect it to a USB hub.
• To install this firmware
  1. Download the file onto your local hard disk.
  2. Close all application and Windows Explorer that are currently running.
  3. Connect the USB transmitter to your computer.
  4. Double-click the downloaded file.
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
