This package provides the PLDS DL-8ATS 12.7mm Slotload 8x DVDRW Firmware Update and is supported on the Inspiron, XPS Notebook and Alienware Notebook models that are running the following Windows Operating Systems: XP, VISTA and Windows 7.
1) Please close other applications before updating. 2) While the firmware is updating, please don't turn off the computer. 3) Please reboot the computer after the firmware update is completed.
